Immediately after the new year holiday, I distributed the sum of five thousand naira (₦5, 000) as back-to-school transport support for students of tertiary institutions who are of Ondo South origin. The thinking behind this initiative is that our students will return to their various institutions after the holiday and if I am able to offset the cost of traveling back to school, I would have invariably eased the burden of our students and parents who have expended most of their lean resources during the holiday.
